About me
Welcome to my about me page, I am Hannah and I'm a pet portrait artist. I have done a lot of work with animals behind the scenes which is one of the reasons I started my business.
My business was originally created back in 2021, where it was named HannahScottAnimalArtist. It was slow start and my work was not as good as it is now but I wouldn't change it for the world. My business has always based around my dog. She was my world and I want to create, to remind and to memorialise others pets.
As well as my dog, I have previously worked with other animals behind the scenes. I worked on a farm with goats, donkeys, chickens, ferrets, tortoises and everything in between. Beside art currently, I walk dogs on the side, anything from tiny fluffy animals to large barking ones, I work with them all. My whole life revolves around those special creatures no matter the job I do!!
JLR.PetPortraits is based around that same, special dog. Her name was Lucy and she passed away February of 2023. She's the reason I started my business and I didn't feel my old businesses had enough of her in it. The J and R stand for Jack Russell Terrier which was her breed and the L stands for Lucy. This rebrand is all about her and I want to make sure to show the connection between people and their pets as I know just how special and unbreakable that bond is. These are one of a kind drawings created to last a lifetime.
Photography is my other passion - again this includes animals, I mainly photograph animals and nature. These can be found on Istock @HannahScottPhotography.
